One man and a child died and several other people, including Chief of the Georgian Financial Police Davit Kezerashvili, were badly injured in a car crash on June 4 in the western Georgian region of Imereti.
Kezerashvili, his driver, his bodyguard, and his wife were all in the car, which collided into a car coming from the opposite lane near the village of Ianeti. Doctors said Kezerashvili and his wife were badly injured.
The driver of the oncoming car and a three-year-old child died in the accident, which, according to police, was caused by this oncoming car. Four other people were also injured in that car.
