President Saakashvili rejected Moscow?s proposal to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin and the leaders of the breakaway regions of Abkhazia and South Ossetia ? Sergey Bagapsh and Eduard Kokoity – in Russia?s Black Sea resort of Sochi, Mikheil Saakashvili said in an interview with the Rustavi 2 television network on April 3.
?There really was a proposal to hold a meeting in Sochi? But this kind of meeting will make sense only in the event that the meeting is well-prepared in advance. All meetings should have results. We all understand that just a meeting for [the sake of having] a meeting has no reason,? Saakashvili said.
