Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili met with visiting leader of the Moldovan opposition Christian Democratic Popular Party (CDPP) Iurie Rosca on March 14 in Tbilisi.
President Saakashvili said after talks that the Georgian leadership is ready ?to cooperate with every person who pursues democratic principles and has European orientation [in mind].?
?Therefore, both Christian-Democrats and the government of Moldova, which, despite many obstacles, held free and democratic elections are very important partners for us,? the President said, according to the President?s press office.
?Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova and other post Soviet countries can follow the path towards European integration,? Saakashvili added.
