(Tbilisi, September 10, 2003, Civil Georgia) – Georgian Energy Minister Mamuka Nikolaishvili said today that the Kavkasioni high voltage power line was deliberately damaged in western Georgia.
This is the fourth case of deliberate damage done to a power line within the past 20 days. This is sabotage,? Mamuka Nikolaishvili told reporters.
Leaders of the Presidential-backed election bloc blamed the United Democrats and National Movement opposition parties for previous damage to power lines.
