(Tbilisi, July 17, 2003, Civil Georgia) – The US started today construction of the new embassy complex in the suburb of Georgian capital Tbilisi.
According to the US embassy the construction, which costs USD 114 million, will be finished in 2006.
The JA Jones Construction Company is contracted to build the new embassy complex.
The new American Embassy complex in Tbilisi will be built according to new US Government standard embassy designs being used worldwide.
