Union of NGOs Offered Burjanadze to Lead Public Movement

(Tbilisi. April 23, 2003. Civil Georgia) – Union of 30 NGOs, including community based organizations offered Parliamentary Chairperson Nino Burjanadze today to lead the popular movement which would resist undemocratic trends in the country.

?This is very surprising offer for me. I have to think over the proposal,? Nino Burjanadze said.

At the meeting with the Parliamentary Chairperson today the Union expressed protest regarding the undemocratic moves of the authorities.
