(Tbilisi. April 14, 2003. Civil Georgia) – Couple of hundred students held a protest rally in front of the State Chancellery (President’s administration) demanding the President’s and government’s resignation.
Protesters slammed newly established pro-Presidential election alliance and burned pictures of President Shevardnadze and State Minister Avtandil Jorbenadze, which are the leaders of this election bloc.
Students also said that this was a warning rally, and threatened with mass protests.
