(Tbilisi. April 2, 2003. Civil Georgia) – Georgian Defense Minister Davit Tevzadze said on April 1 that Georgia is ready to offer “any kind of assistance” to the United States in war against Iraq.
Tevzadze told the reporters that at the moment United States and Georgia hold consultations regarding the possible use of Georgian air bases by the US air forces.
“No final decision is taken so far regarding the issue,” Georgian Defense Minister said.
