(Tbilisi, Civil Georgia, December 10, 2002) – Russia’s new ambassador to Georgia Vladimir Chkhikvishvili arrives today in Tbilisi.
Chkhikvishvili is ethnic Georgia, which has graduated one of the Tbilisi schools. Before the new appointment he was a chief of the North American Department at the Russia Foreign Affairs Ministry.
On December 11 Russia’s new ambassador to Georgia will meet Georgian Foreign Minister Irakli Menagharishvili.
