Interior Ministry not Responsible for Violations During Locals – Minister Says

(Tbilisi, June 7, Civil Georgia) – Interior Minister Koba Narchemashvili hailed the law enforcers activity during the local self-governance elections.

At the Parliamentary session on June 7 the Interior Minister said that if not the police activity the voidances during the locals would have been more frequent. He stated that Central Election Commission is responsible for the disorganized elections.

At the session today many of the MPs said that police was involved in the chaos in Rustavi, Zugdidi were the elections were canceled.
