(Tbilisi, September 3, 2002, Civil Georgia) – Up to 15 Georgians living in Strasbourg held a demonstration at the representation of Russian Federation in the Сouncil of Europe (CoE) on September 2.
They protested Russia bombing Georgian territory and held posters saying “Stop Bombing Georgia”.
The protesters submitted a statement condemning bombardments to the representation and moved to the CoE main building with the same demands. Georgians living in Strasburg intend to submit a statement to the EU as well.
