Three Board Members of NBG Approved

The Parliament confirmed on December 1 three new members of the National Bank’s board, who were nominated by President Giorgi Margvelashvili.

Archil Mestvirishvili, incumbent Vice President of the National Bank, has been elected in the board for the second seven-year term.

The remaining two vacant seats in the seven-member board were occupied by Murtaz Kikoria, who has a 24-year experience of working in the banking sector and who served as CEO of the Bank of Georgia till September 2016; and Robert H. Singletary, international consultant involved in various projects in Georgia since 2008.
