Eight political parties have registered with the Central Election Commission (CEC) to run in the October 5 local self-governance elections, the CEC reported on September 1.
The list includes: Labor Party, Georgia?s Way, Conservative, Republican, New Rights, Industrialists, Party of National Ideology and the ruling National Movement party.
Separate parties will be able to form election blocs before September 7.
