Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Giorgi Manjgaladze met the UN Secretary General?s Special Representative in Georgia, Jean Arnault, on June 5 to discuss Abkhaz conflict resolution, the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported.
The UN envoy briefed the Georgian official on his recent visits to Sokhumi and Moscow.
During the meeting Manjgaladze stressed the necessity for the return of internally displaced persons to the entire territory of Abkhazia.
The sides agreed to continue negotiations on various issues relating to conflict resolution, according to the Georgian Foreign Ministry.
