Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Grigory Karasin met with U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Dan Fried in Moscow on May 15, the Russian Foreign Ministry reported.
The officials discussed the conflicts in the South Caucasus, according to the report.
Fried is accompanying U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice on her visit to Moscow.
