Foreign Minister Visits Brussels for Talks with EU, NATO

Georgian Foreign Minister Gela Bezhuashvili will visit Brussels on May 14-16 to hold talks with officials from the European Union and NATO.


Talks with EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana and European Commissioner for External Relations and European Neighbourhood Policy Benita Ferrero-Waldner are planned, the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported.


NATO?s main decision-making body, the North-Atlantic Council, will hold a meeting in the 26+1 format (26 member-states and Georgia).


Foreign Minister Bezhuashvili will also hold talks with his counterparts from Greece, the Netherlands and Spain during his visit to Brussels.
