South Ossetian, Abkhaz Leaders Meet in Moscow

South Ossetian and Abkhaz leaders, Eduard Kokoity and Sergey Bagapsh, respectively held talks in Moscow, the South Ossetian Press and Information Committee reported on April 21.

According to the same report, the two secessionist leaders adopted a joint statement regarding the situation around Georgia?s possible accession to NATO.

Kokoity and Bagapsh also discussed the issues of functioning of the Tbilisi-loyal alternative government of South Ossetia and the Abkhaz government-in-exile, ?which were created by the Georgian side to mislead the international community.?

?The Georgian side thwarts the negotiating process and demonstrates an uncivilized provocative approach towards settlement of problems,? the South Ossetian Press and Information Committee quoted Eduard Kokoity as saying.
