Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gregory Karasin met the Russian and South Ossetian co-chairmen of the Joint Control Commission (JCC) over South Ossetia, Yuri Popov and Boris Chochiev, respectively, in Moscow on March 29, the Russian Foreign Ministry has reported.
Issues related to the results of an informal JCC session held in Istanbul on March 21-22 were discussed during the talks.
?The sides expressed the hope that the forthcoming plenary session of the JCC scheduled in Tbilisi…will foster a full-scale negotiating process in the existing format,? the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
