Georgia?s envoy to the UN, Irakli Alasania, may replace Defense Minister Davit Kezerashvili, the Georgian daily Rezonansi reported on January 11.
According to the newspaper Kezerashvili is expected to be removed from the Defense Ministry and take a high position in the Interior Ministry after January 20.
?It was clear from the very beginning that Kezerashvili was a temporary minister and his appointment was an urgent move after [Irakli] Okruashvili was removed from the [Defense Minister?s] position,? Rezonansi quoted military expert Irakli Sesiashvili as saying.
