Georgian Foreign Minister in Brussels for OSCE Ministerial

Georgian Foreign Minister Gela Bezhuashvili is participating in the 14th OSCE Foreign Ministerial Council in Brussels on December 4-5.

The annual Ministerial Council focuses on tackling protracted “frozen” conflicts and further improving OSCE efficiency, according to the OSCE press service.

In his opening remarks at the Council, the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Belgian Foreign Minister Karel De Gucht, said ?it would be unwise to expect a solution in Brussels? over frozen conflicts.

“However, I appeal to each and every one of you and especially to the main protagonists to use the opportunity offered by this meeting of the main body of this organization to relaunch the course of negotiations that are interrupted or blocked,” Minister De Gucht said.
