PM Zurab Nogaideli has reappointed Levan Nikoleishvili as the First Deputy Defense Minister, as well as Aleksander Sukhitashvili and Mamuka Mujiri as Deputy Defense Ministers.
Deputies are automatically suspended from their postitions after a minister?s resignation. Davit Kezerashvili replaced Irakli Okruashvili in the Defense Minister?s position on November 10.
Georgian media speculations that Sukhitashvili, Okruashvili?s close associate, was slated to lose his position have proved to be incorrect.
It is not yet clear whether or not Ketevan Natsvlishvili, a fourth Deputy Defense Minister, will retain her position.
