NATO MPs Visit Georgia

A delegation of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, led by Chairman of the Defense and Security Committee Frank Cook, arrived in Georgia on June 14 to hold talks with Georgian officials over ongoing reforms.


According to the Georgian Parliament?s press office, the delegation will meet with Parliamentary Chairperson Nino Burjanadze, Foreign Minister Gela Bezhuashvili, State Minister for European Integration Issues Giorgi Baramidze, Interior Minister Vano Merabishvili and other officials.


The delegation is also planning to hold talks with Romualds Razuks of Latvia, the NATO liaison officer in the Caucasus, who is based in Tbilisi.
