Parliamentary Chairperson Nino Burjanadze said on June 1 that Georgia should not yield to Russia”s provocations in breakaway South Ossetia and should solve all disputes solely through “diplomatic ways.”
“This so called “rotation” of the Russian peacekeepers in the conflict zone is aimed at provoking, but we should show restraint and should not yield to these provocations,” Nino Burjanadze said while speaking with Rustavi 2 television from Helsinki, where she is attending a conference of EU parliamentarians.
