Georgian Foreign Minister Visits Germany

Georgian Foreign Minister Gela Bezhuashvili left for Germany on January 23 for a two-day working visit to discuss bilateral cooperation with his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported.


The two Ministers will discuss South Ossetia and Tbilisi?s action plan over a peaceful resolution to this conflict. ?The Georgian side is interested in involvement by the EU in the Joint Control Commission,? which is the quadripartite negotiating body for the South Ossetian conflict, according to the Georgian Foreign Ministry.
