Russian peacekeeping troops deployed in the South Ossetian conflict zone accused the Georgian side of violating the terms of rotation of its peacekeeping contingent, news agency Interfax reported on January 10.

Interfax quotes Chief of Staff of Joint Peacekeeping Troops Rem Akimov as saying.
He said that the Georgian side has rotated its troops two months ago.
The South Ossetian Press and Information Committee reported citing Col. Vladimir Ivanov, an aide to the Commander of Joint Peacekeeping Forces, that Georgia has deployed 200 servicemen from Batumi brigade, which is 50 servicemen less than it was deployed previously.
