JCC to Meet in Tskhinvali

South Ossetian chief negotiator Boris Chochiev said that Russian Foreign Ministry?s special envoy Valery Kenyaikin will arrive in Georgia on December 8 to participate in the session of the Joint Control Commission (JCC) which will be held in the South Ossetian capital Tskhinvali, the South Ossetian Press and Information Committee reported.


?Recently situation has aggravated in the conflict zone, which triggered necessity to convene an emergency session of the JCC,? Boris Chochiev said.


The quadripartite JCC involves negotiators from the Georgian, South Ossetian, Russian and Russia?s North Ossetian sides.


On December 5, the Russian Foreign Ministry accused Tbilisi of fueling tensions in the conflict zone called on the sides to hold JCC session.
