A Georgian delegation led by State Minister for Conflict Resolution Issues Giorgi Khaindrava left for Ljubljana, Slovenia to participate in a meeting of the quadripartite Joint Control Commission (JCC) on November 15-16.
The meeting will be held on the initiative of OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Slovenian Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel.
During the JCC session the Georgian side will seek change in the current negotiating formula ? the quadripartite Joint Control Commission, which includes the Georgian, South Ossetian, Russian and Russia?s North Ossetian sides – by involving representatives of the United States and the OSCE, while the South Ossetian side aims to defend the current format of negotiations as ?the most effective one.?
