Mobile Phone Driving Banned

Using a handheld mobile phone while driving will be illegal in Georgia starting from October 15. Offenders will be fined GEL 20 (USD 11).


Driving without using a seat belt will also result in a fine, according to a new law which will also go effect on October 15.
