EU Grants EUR 20 mln to Georgia

The European Commission has allotted a grant of EURO 20 million to Georgia, within the Food Security Programme, the Georgian Finance Ministry reported.
 
A relevant agreement was signed by Georgian Finance Minister Lekso Aleksishvili and the Head of the European Commission Delegation to Georgia Torben Holtze in Tbilisi on August 30.


The assistance is designed mainly for agriculture and healthcare programmes in 2005-2006.
