Grenade Explodes at U.S. Diplomat’s House in Tbilisi

A grenade, thrown by an unknown person into the yard of a house in Tbilisi where U.S. diplomat lives, exploded late on February 11. No casualties were reported.


The identity of the U.S. citizen, who works at the U.S. Embassy in Tbilisi, is not disclosed. The U.S. Embassy is refraining from making any comments.


It remains unclear who carried out this attack or what are the motives behind the attack were.
