Voter Registration Started

The voter registration process started on December 15 to make a voter lists for the January 4 snap presidential elections.

The voters will have to go to the precincts and fill out the special forms, which would enable them to cast ballot on January 4.

The process will last until December 21, when the Central Election Commission in cooperation with the Interior and Justice Ministries, together with other relevant state agency will double-check the lists.

The finalized voter lists will be posted at the precincts on December 29, so that the voters could recheck them.

Thousands of voters could not cast ballot during the November 2 parliamentary elections, because of the mass inaccuracy in the voter lists.
