Bush Says al Qaeda Leaders Plotted Against European States, Including Georgia

(Tbilisi February 14, 2003. Civil Georgia) – US President George W. Bush stated on February 13, while speaks at Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, Florida that Saddam Hussein “harbors a senior al Qaeda leader who plotted against Spain and Italy in the Republic of Georgia, and Russia, and Great Britain, and France, and Germany.”

On February 6 US President also said that the terrorist network harboring in Iraq “has plotted terrorism against France, Spain, Italy, Germany, the Republic of Georgia, and Russia, and was caught producing poisons in London. The danger Saddam Hussein poses reaches across the world.”
