Georgian MPs Condemn Chechnya Terrorist Attack

(Tbilisi, December 29, 2002. Civil Georgia) – Georgian Parliament adopted a statement on December 28 condemning the terrorist attack in Chechen capital Grozny on December 27.

At least 52 people died and 100 were injured as a result of the suicide bomb attack that virtually destroyed the main building of the Chechen administration. The Russian Foreign Ministry blamed “international terrorists” for the attack.

Georgian MPs expressed condolence to the families of the victims of the terrorist attack.
