Georgia Condemns Russian Duma Statement

(Tbilisi, March 8, Civil Georgia) – Georgian Foreign Affairs Ministry issued a statement on March 7 protesting against the statement adopted by the Russian Duma Council on March 6 concerning the situation in Georgia.

The Russian Duma statement says that Russia might consider establishing of Abkhazian and South Ossetian Republics in the future.

Georgian Foreign Ministry states that the statement is the interference in the Georgia’s internal affairs and neglecting Georgia’s sovereignty and the territorial integrity.
